Saturday, Prep Girls Hoops Indiana held its annual Freshman Showcase to help identify several of the state's top Freshmen. With 90 prospects from the 2028 class in attendance, this provided an opportunity to see them compete head-to-head, as well as together, in a combination of 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 games. The event was loaded with talent, making it difficult to limit the strong play to just a handful of players, so I wanted to circle back and discuss everyone from Teams 9 & 10. This concludes our coverage of the Freshman Showcase.

#128 [player_tooltip player_id='990165' first='Serenity' last='Conyers'], 5-4 PG, Liberty Christian Academy - [see her review here]

#155 [player_tooltip player_id='814715' first='Jhordyn' last='Brown'], 5-7 SG, Kokomo H.S. - [see her review here]

#166 [player_tooltip player_id='990166' first='Aaliyah' last='Wilson'], 5-6 CG, Lawrence Central H.S. - [see her review here]

#230 [player_tooltip player_id='992339' first='Averi' last='Murff'], 5-4 CG, Ben Davis H.S. - Averi is a strong-for-her size, compact, low-to-the-ground guard. She absorbs contact well for a Freshman, she is a solid all-around athlete, and she plays with some skill. She did a nice job of getting gaps and finding teammates.

#232 [player_tooltip player_id='973307' first='Chloe' last='Endris'], 5-3 PG, West Central H.S. - Chloe is a tiny, but quick/fast point guard prospect. She plays with an outstanding motor and flies around the court. She could have an immediate impact for West Central, but she will need to keep getting stronger.

#348 [player_tooltip player_id='992221' first='Brooklyn' last='Crim'], 5-8 SF, New Palestine H.S. - Brooklyn has a solid to strong frame, broad shoulders, and is a versatile athlete. She looks like a kid who was more of a '4' but transitioned to the wing. She has a nice mid-post game, but she can also attack from the perimeter or hit the occasional 3-pointer.

#548 [player_tooltip player_id='992344' first='Claire' last='Webster'], 5-6 PG, New Albany H.S. - Claire is a strong, broad-shouldered, but somewhat compact point guard prospect. She prefers to attack the basket and find teammates, and she does a nice job playing with her head up scanning the floor. Claire is also an effortful defender.

#557 [player_tooltip player_id='992371' first='Sarah' last='Thorne'], 5-6 SG, Brownsburg H.S. - Sarah is one of those guards who likes to float between the wing and the long corner. She has some touch outside, but as she gets a little more dynamic off the bounce and attacks, it will help open up her all-around game. She does have a strong frame.

#982 [player_tooltip player_id='992139' first='Jillian' last='Beaderstadt'], 6-1 C, Lake Central H.S. - [see her review here]

Team #10:

#126 [player_tooltip player_id='992800' first='Sueann' last='Watt'], 5-5 PG, Goshen Community H.S. - Sueann had a nice day last Saturday. She has length, wiry strength, and she's a fairly fluid athlete. She did a nice job of taking care of the ball and getting it to open teammates. She also got to the basket and finished, plus she defended with effort.

#251 [player_tooltip player_id='992367' first='Miranda' last='Bates'], 5-7 SG, Lake Central H.S. - Miranda is a long and wiry guard who needs a little time to finish growing and gaining strength. She is a solid all-around athlete, and she has some skill, but strength could really help her game become more consistent.

#253 [player_tooltip player_id='883650' first='Ava' last='Mount'], 5-8 SF, Lebanon H.S. - Ava has a very strong, physical frame. She is a nice all-around athlete, and she plays with a tremendous motor. She likes to attack and has some skill, but if she can make her handle a little more dynamic, I think she can develop into a guard long-term.

#261 [player_tooltip player_id='990956' first='Agnes' last='Bell'], 5-8 SG, Homestead H.S. - [see her review here]

#355 [player_tooltip player_id='992350' first='Grayson' last='Wheeler'], 5-10 SF, Fishers H.S. - Grayson is a long, wiry-strong, and fluidly athletic wing prospect. She showed the ability to put it on the floor and push in transition or create in the halfcourt like a point forward. She has some upside and could develop into a really nice prospect over time.

#556 [player_tooltip player_id='881558' first='Adelyn' last='Thompson'], 5-6 SG, Cascade H.S. - Adelyn is a strong and somewhat compact guard. She doesn't mind physicality, and she works extremely hard. She'll do a lot of the "little things" to help her team, she'll defend and rebound, plus she's a solid shooter from the perimeter.

#857 [player_tooltip player_id='992361' first='Kennedy' last='Kemper'], 5-8 SF, Center Grove H.S. - Kennedy is a long, wiry-strong, fluidly athletic wing. She can attack the basket North/South, she has a solid mid-range game, and she can knock down the occasional 3-pointer when in rhythm. She also has the ability to defend multiple positions.

#931 [player_tooltip player_id='992360' first='Kendra' last='Ash'], 6-1 PF/C, Fishers H.S. - Kendra absolutely looks the part. She has an athletic frame, length, and she runs & jumps as well as any of the front-liners who were in attendance last Saturday. As she gains more control and balance, I think she will be much more consistently productive.
