Rossini continues to captivate me with her ability to “make those around her better” and as I have stated countless times, that’s when you go from being good to great. Rossini has always been my type of point guard because even before high school, she understood some things that are very important and that’s how to control the tempo as well as getting her teammates involved. Her skill-set coupled with being “heady” and handling pressure was in full effect last night as she not only scored off the dribble as well as from deep, she saw the floor and made the right decisions. Rossini is one of the most improved point guards from last season and her progression has been uplifting. Her turning several corners started with her school team yet she’s been on a tear showing combo skills. Yeah, she handled the ball and sees the floor under pressure but her scoring off the dribble using a deceptive first step coupled with good body control has given her numerous and one opportunities. She also is creating her shot better and dropping it from mid to long-range, while being defended and in the clutch
