Mitchell can flat out keep her team in this game and even pull off the upset. She’s an explosive bucket getter that can create space in a variety of ways. Mitchell has a nasty step back jumper as well as handles that help her get looks at the rim. If she gets going offensively, it can be anybody’s game.

Mitchell is one of the more exciting prospects to watch. She has a definite explosiveness to her game and her skill set. Mitchell is the type of player that can rattle off a 20 spot before you know what hit you. She scores in a variety of ways. She’s known for her step back jumper, which ,ight be the best in the state, but she can also attack the rim off the bounce, catch and shoot, and bury a floater from mid range.

The Heritage senior got hot near the end of the first half and hit three 3’s, including a step back. She is a kid that can heat up quickly.

Mitchell was lights out in an impressive team win. I’ve always raved about her step back jumper, but now she’s added a hesitation move that caused issues for defenders over the weekend. Mitchell needed almost no space to get off a clean jumper, as I saw her hit at least 2 triples even with a hand in her face.

The Heritage senior is a three level threat that has several go to moves. Her step back three is killer, especially with how quick she is off the bounce. Her offensive abilities should allow her to put up monster numbers this year regardless of the offensive situation.

Mitchell is committed to Davenport University, and in my opinion, she’s a tremendous addition to their program. She’s an absolute sparkplug as a player, with quick handles that help her create space. Mitchell can play at a fast pace and has the versatility to be effective on or off the ball. Those that have watched her play know that she has one of the sickest step back moves in Michigan.
