Aleia was very impressive in the way she conducted herself on both ends of the floor. She played with great energy, consistently hustling and making plays in multiple areas of the game. Offensively, she made smart decisions with the ball, never forcing the action and understanding when to attack versus when to move it.

Her mid-range jump shot stood out as a reliable weapon, especially in moments when the defense took away driving lanes or the three-point line. She showed good balance and confidence pulling up in space, and her ability to score from that area of the floor added an important dimension to Ben Davis’ offense. Overall, her composure, effort, and efficiency made a strong impact throughout the game.

Aleia is a strong, physical, aggressive scorer who is always trying to find a bucket. She has nice North/South speed, she can run by opponents in transition, and if she gets downhill at all to the basket, she’s likely scoring it, or you’ll have to foul her to stop her approach. Her motor and competitiveness are unquestioned, but as she learns how to change speeds and directions with her athleticism, I think it can make her offensive game more consistent. Also, she is an assertive defender who can guard multiple positions.

Aleia is a ball of energy who loves to play on attack. The lefty is always looking to drive it aggressively to the rim, but she will also take mid-range pull-ups, as well as the occasional 3-pointer. I like her motor, but if she can learn to change speeds a little better, I think it would help her offensive game. Defensively, she has some toughness to her, she can battle inside and will rebound, plus she can sit down and defend the ball off the dribble.
