is a point guard who brings speed, confidence, and playmaking ability to the Ben Davis program. She thrives with the basketball in her hands and does a great job creating opportunities for teammates while also attacking defenses herself. Jones is effective in transition and plays with an aggressive mentality that keeps defenders on their heels. She shows strong instincts as a facilitator and understands how to break down defenses to create quality scoring chances. Defensively, she competes with energy and quickness, making her a strong two-way contributor for Ben Davis.

I first saw Paige play last year at the Freshman Showcase, where she was one of the top performers in the event. She carried that momentum into a strong freshman season at Ben Davis, where she did a great job running the point guard position while also contributing as a scorer for a young team.
What stands out about Paige is her ability to control the game while still being aggressive offensively. She shows good poise with the ball, makes solid decisions, and understands how to balance getting her teammates involved with looking for her own shot. For a freshman, that’s not easy to do, especially at the point guard position.
Her experience this past season, along with performances like the showcase, show that she’s ahead of the curve. As she continues to develop, she’s definitely a guard to keep an eye on, especially with her ability to lead and produce at a high level.

I first saw Paige play at the Freshman and Sophomore Showcase in September, and now, watching her with nearly a full season under her belt, it’s clear how much she has grown in both confidence and understanding of the game. She has molded into the type of player Ben Davis needs—someone who can apply constant pressure on the defense while still playing within the flow of the offense.
What stood out most was her ability to attack the rim with purpose and make smart decisions once she got there. She didn’t force shots; instead, she consistently took what the defense gave her, whether that meant finishing through contact, pulling up in space, or making the right read to a teammate. Defensively, she showed improved awareness and toughness, holding her own on the ball and competing on every possession.
As a young guard, her composure and willingness to impact the game in multiple ways is impressive. With continued development and experience, Paige has the tools to become a cornerstone in Ben Davis’ backcourt and should be a very good guard for the program over the next three years.

Jones is a quick, dynamic guard who excels at attacking off the dribble and creating scoring opportunities. She separates herself from many guards in her class with her aggressiveness getting downhill and finishing at the rim. In addition to her scoring, she shows good decision-making, setting up teammates effectively. Defensively, her speed allows her to stay in front, provide help, and recover, making her an active presence all over the floor. Jones projects as an exciting addition to the Ben Davis system with her ability to impact both ends of the game.

Paige is an explosive guard, and she made her presence felt on both ends of the court for Team 3 at the Freshman Showcase. Her athleticism, pesky defense, and dynamic skills on offense grabbed my attention. Paige buried a smooth triple in the slot off a crossover dribble and buried another off the catch. She showed off her speed in transition, turning on the jets to score many transition layups. She exploded downhill to score a left-handed layup off two feet and cut backdoor to score another layup off two. Paige consistently penetrated the defense with her dribble. Paige threw strong passes to open teammates, including an unselfish shovel pass to give a teammate an easy bunny. Paige created many steals on the defensive end. One of her wow moments came when she sprinted over from the help side to block a shot with authority. Paige earned recognition as a Top Performer and was one of the most impactful two-way players.
