Tatum Skibinski Tatum Skibinski 5'8" | SG Ben Davis | 2029 State IN is a young guard who already plays with a level of confidence and composure beyond her years. The Ben Davis freshman brings toughness, energy, and a strong feel for the game every time she steps on the court. As a guard, she is effective at creating offense both for herself and for teammates, while also bringing defensive intensity on the perimeter.
Skibinski’s ability to attack downhill stands out immediately. She plays aggressively off the dribble, gets into gaps quickly, and finishes through contact. What makes her even more dangerous is her ability to change pace and keep defenders off balance. She competes hard defensively, pressures the basketball, and consistently creates extra possessions through hustle plays.
For a freshman, her court awareness and poise are impressive. She plays with confidence, embraces big moments, and has the tools to continue developing into one of the top young guards in the state.

Tatum was a part of a Ben Davis backcourt that often started three Freshmen all season in 2025-2026. She is another long and wiry wing, she’s a capable perimeter shooter, but she’s also a smooth and fluid athlete who can put it on the floor and glide to the basket. She looks like she might still have another inch or two to grow, and once she finishes growing, she’ll no doubt get stronger and continue to improve her consistency, especially shooting the ball. She also does a nice job of using her length defensively.

Tatum is another guard who is going to gain a lot of attention this AAU season because of what she brings on both ends of the floor. She does a great job of getting to the rim, especially with her left hand, which makes her tough for defenders to contain. Once she gets downhill, she plays with confidence and finishes strong.
What really separates her, though, is her energy and competitiveness—particularly on the defensive end. She takes pride in guarding, applies pressure, and doesn’t shy away from tough matchups. That motor and intensity make a big impact beyond just scoring.
For a freshman playing on a 16U team, she’s showing a lot of maturity in her game. She looks comfortable competing against older players and continues to prove that she belongs at this level. As she keeps developing, she’s definitely a name that more people will start to recognize.

Tatum is another member of the talented 2029 class at Ben Davis, and she has performed the most consistently of that group. She is third on the team in scoring (7.3 ppg) and second in rebounding (4.2 rpg), plus she is shooting a respectable 32% from 3-point range. Those numbers should continue to improve throughout her career as she gains experience. She has nice length and is a solid all-around athlete, plus she can affect the game defensively by creating turnovers, rebounding, and giving good ‘help’. Offensively, she is also a capable driver, and she’s a willing passer who can find open teammates in positions to score.
