Hayden has somewhat flown under the radar throughout her career, playing on a Ben Davis team with young talent and on travel teams with additional talent around her. She strikes me as the perfect “culture” kid at the small college level, because she plays with toughness, physicality, and she makes a lot of hustle plays. She always seems to find a way onto the floor, because she adds production in areas others don’t want to. At the same time, she’s a solid all-around athlete, she has some ball skill, some touch outside, and she will rebound and defend with effort.

Hayden is one of those kids who you want on your team, but you don’t necessarily want to play against. She is tough-nosed, hard-working, and physical. However, she also possesses a balanced skillset, and she is a willing & capable defender. She has a wiry-strong frame, solid all-around athleticism, and she can get to the basket. At the same time, Hayden has some touch outside, or she can even initiate the offense a little. If over the next year she can become a truer point guard, it should certainly help her recruiting.
