Alice had a sensational showing in her Breakaway team’s win over Take Over on Sunday afternoon. She lit up the court to the tune of 21 points-all of which came on 3-pointers.
Alice is obviously an incredible outside shooter. She fires off shots with a quick release, and has deadly aim from behind the arc. With those seven 3s made, she only missed 1-2 shots from distance in that game.
But her deep shooting isn’t even her favorite part of her game. Alice says she loves playing defense-which is another area in which she’s frustrating to play against. She has active hands, and will mix it up with players who are 5-6 inches taller than her.
Alice’s deep shooting also allows her to be a strong passer. The threat of her shots can open up teammates for looks in the paint, and Alice is a smart passer when she sees an open player.
