Carroll stood out as one of the most complete players on the floor during 5-on-5 play. She was a strong passer with good court vision, but wasn’t afraid to turn the corner and attack the basket. Her shooting mechanics were clean and she could knock down the rainbow three. Carroll also showcased active hands on defense, swiping the ball out of her opponents’ hands without hacking them. I wrote next to her name “best player on the floor in 5 on 5” which is no small feat at an invite-only combine.
