What stands out most about McKenzie is how hard she competes and the consistent effort she brings on both ends of the floor. Coming off an injury, it was great to see her back in action and playing with confidence. Defensively, she does an excellent job staying in front of guards, using her size, strength, and lateral quickness to disrupt opposing offenses.

Offensively, McKenzie is effective attacking the rim and finishes well through contact. She also rebounds her position at a high level and runs the floor hard in transition, creating easy scoring opportunities for her team. Her physicality, versatility, and motor make her impact felt beyond the box score. The University of Illinois Chicago is getting a high-level competitor and a player who will add immediate value to their program.

McKenzie knows how to put the biscuit in the basket! Great job finding ways to the charity stripe and knocking them in! She’s one resilient defender, plays physical! I’m a big fan of her game and toughness!

Even though Aniyah is the #8 prospect on the PGH Indiana 2026 rankings list, I still feel like she’s a bit under-recruited by colleges at this point in time. She has good size and strength, she’s a nice all-around athlete, and she plays with one of the best motors in the state. She has touch to the perimeter, she’s great in the mid-post, and she’s a physical, aggressive rebounder and defender willing to do all of the “little things”. All in all, I think she’s the type of kid who helps a program win games. I look for her to have a big Winter.
