Lola Lampley looked every bit like a high-major prospect during the Midwest Challenge. The LSU commit showcased elite athleticism, confidence, and a strong overall skill set that immediately grabbed attention. Lampley played with a high level of intensity and brought a competitive edge every time she touched the floor.
Her offensive game was extremely impressive, as she showed the ability to score in transition, attack defenders off the dribble, and create opportunities around the basket. Defensively, she used her athleticism and length to disrupt plays and make life difficult for opponents.
Lampley’s presence was felt throughout the event. Even while watching online, it was easy to see why LSU saw her as a major addition to their future program. She carries herself with confidence and competes at a very high level.

Lola probably checks as many boxes as anyone. She has obvious talent, skill, and an understanding of the game. She is a member of Team USA, and she has been selected to the McDonald’s All-American roster. She is ranked #1 on our 2026 list for a reason. The 6-3 forward is headed to LSU next season to play for Coach Kim Mulkey, and she has helped Lawrence Central to their 2nd and 3rd Sectional titles ever, their 1st Regional title, their 1st Semi-State title, and their 1st State Championship. They’ve also amassed an 88-15 record and played a number of talented teams from other states as well. Despite being in a lineup with several other Division I players throughout her career, she has still managed to contribute 1200+ points, 600+ rebounds, 300+ steals, and 200+ assists.

Lola was probably the easiest pick of all for the team. She is the state’s Team USA representative, and she has international experience touring with them. She is strong, athletic, and can play just about anywhere on the floor. If you think she plays this position or that position, you haven’t seen her enough, because she can play anywhere. She has tremendous vision in transition and can make pinpoint passes as a point forward. She also has an array of post moves and can dominate smaller defenders on the block. She is Indiana’s highest ranked player nationally, and she backs it up each night. She is committed to LSU.

doesn’t need much introduction when she steps on the floor, she establishes herself as the best player on the court. With her size, length, and versatility, she can dominate both inside and outside. Lampley’s polished footwork makes her a tough cover in the post and on the perimeter, while her ability to handle the ball allows her to attack from the perimeter against any defender in the state. Beyond her skill set, Lampley is a coachable player who elevates those around her. She consistently makes her teammates better, whether by drawing defensive attention that opens the floor or by setting the tone with her work ethic. This past spring and summer, she picked up multiple high-major Division I offers, reflecting her status as one of Indiana’s premier prospects. With the return of

I remember watching Lola when she was in 6th grade, and her game continues to amaze me! As a coach, it is nearly impossible to come up with a game plan on how to stop someone with her talent that can play all positions. A double double machine who can score anywhere! (Below with ball)
