She put together one impressive performance after another. She attacked the rim with confidence, knocked down perimeter shots, and consistently created quality opportunities for a talented roster that looks like a serious State champion contender. With the ball in her hands, Peterson was firmly in control and embraced the responsibility of running the offense and keeping her teammates involved. Her speed and ability to apply defensive pressure immediately caught the eye, but it was her decision-making and selfless play that truly separated her. Peterson played with poise and maturity beyond her years, making the right reads at the right time. Peterson is the catalyst and she’ll be a major reason her team has an opportunity to make a deep postseason run next season.

Jaiden was the most dominant player I watched all day and looked nearly impossible to contain. Her explosive first step and shifty handle allowed her to get wherever she wanted on the floor by consistently beating defenders off the dribble and getting to the rim at will. She finished efficiently around the basket, knocked down outside shots at a high clip, and was equally comfortable pulling up for mid-range jumpers when defenders backed off. Defensively, her speed and competitive nature make her a nightmare as she’s always looking to make a play on the ball. Her combination of speed, scoring ability, and shot creation made her one of the toughest covers in the gym and a constant offensive threat every time she touched the ball.

Jaiden bounced back in a big way against Bishop Kenny this time and played with a ton of heart from start to finish. She shot the ball efficiently and knocked down several big three-pointers including shots from the corner and beyond. Her confidence never wavered and she delivered when her team needed her most. One of the biggest plays of the game came in transition when she finished a tough and-one to energize her team. It was also encouraging to see her build chemistry with the additional help in the backcourt. As those pieces continue to gel, this is a team that has the potential to be very dangerous during the upcoming season and Jaiden will be a major reason why.

One of her greatest assets is her ability to play at a fast pace and constantly put pressure on the opposition. Peterson excels in transition, using her speed and ball-handling ability to break down defenders and create opportunities for herself and her teammates. Peterson also showed maturity and the playmaking side of her game, making a conscious effort to get her talented teammates involved. Her team will be favored to return to Jacksonville for the state championships.

What separates Peterson is not just her speed, but her ability to control it. She plays fast without being rushed—stopping on a dime, changing direction, and accelerating with purpose. Peterson consistently got downhill, scoring at the rim while also creating opportunities for others. Her court vision, ball IQ, and ability to manipulate pace allow her to impact the game in multiple ways. Whether she’s attacking or facilitating, her speed opens up the offense and elevates everyone around her.

Jaiden was electric in the second quarter for Bishop Moore, scoring 13 points to help build a double-digit lead before halftime. She finished with 19 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals while running the offense with her handles and crafty playmaking. Jaiden’s ability to create for herself and teammates made her a shifty and efficient facilitator, shooting 8-for-13 from the field and looking comfortable from every level. Her performance was a major reason Bishop Moore advanced to the state championship game.

Her fist objective is scoring and handling primary ball-handling duties, demonstrating strong court awareness and the ability to keep her team organized. Peterson’s comfort with the ball allows her to dictate tempo and make smart decisions as a facilitator.    She gets up and down the court quickly. Offensively, Peterson has the ability create scoring opportunities, both for herself and her teammates. She can attack the defense off the dribble, use her quickness to get into the lane, and make plays when defenses collapse. Her skill set as a ball handler and play-maker allows her to be effective in transition as well as in half-court situations. She is also fun to watch in the full-court press where she spends a lot of time getting steals and buckets.

Each year she takes another step forward, and her impact goes far beyond scoring. Jaiden is one of the most active, physical guards in Orlando—constantly speeding opponents up, pressuring ball handlers, and forcing turnovers with her energy. She uses that same athleticism to attack off the dribble, blowing by defenders and creating offense for her team. Her two-way presence is undeniable.

Jaiden brought high energy and athleticism to the Rollins College 3-on-3 tournament. Using her speed and quickness, she was able to get past most defenders and attack the basket with a soft, controlled finish. She wasn’t afraid to seek contact, showing toughness while maintaining skillful execution. On defense, Jaiden stayed active, creating opportunities with steals and forced turnovers. Her combination of energy, athleticism, and defensive effort made her a dynamic and impactful presence on the court.
