of Storm Lake High School. Kosky is a 6’1 Center/Power Forward with a soft touch on the ball and balanced coordination in the paint. She does great job of moving effortlessly from one side of the floor to the other, while also being smart enough to outmaneuver her opponents, if they ever happen to cut her off. Over this past few months, Kosky has demonstrated that she is a consistent talent in the middle for whatever team she is lacing up with and that is something that shouldn’t be overlooked. There is too many times when players at this age, don’t play their actual position and they become worse/lose opportunities because of that. I would say that Kosky is doing the compete opposite of that and has been playing into her strengths more-so this past year. Which, in the end, will give her an opportunity to play at the collegiate level in the end because of it. Something you love to see out of a player that works as hard as Kosky does.

was a 2024 player on this team and was someone her teammates fed off of. She forced the defense to come out and guard because she can shoot the three ball. Audrey has capabilities of mixing things up in the post and outside the three point line. Her understanding of the game showed tremendously and looked to exploit mismatches. Being able to guard multiple positions was beneficial for her and her team. She was a physical big and scrappy throughout the showcase. Her will to win and outperform opponents showed each game. My favorite thing from this player was her ability to read the floor on offense. Audrey understood how to move without the ball, what kind of cuts to make and how to make lead passes to teammates.

While having so many players in each class sometimes there are some that are missed and it is not intentional by any means. One of those players that I wouldn’t say has been “missed”, exactly, is one that should be talked about more throughout the state of Iowa and that is

. I watched Kosky for the first time at the Truman State Elite camp a few weeks ago and I was impressed. She is a coordinated player with size and balance on the floor. She has a decent handle with an above average motor when it comes to rebounding and playing physical. Kosky has recently received an offer to play at Waldorf University in Forest City, Iowa. I’m not sure what other interest Kosky has received up to this point but I think she is going to have a few choices at the end of her high school career, as to where she would like to play in college. We will have to wait and see though.

is someone who I have not had the chance to see in person but from what I’ve seen on film several times, she deserves to be in this Players Rankings Update at #82. Kosky, a 6’1 power forward/center, didn’t see the floor last year too much with her Storm Lake high school team but that should all change this winter, when she gets the chance to step up and show what she can bring to the table. Her size, strength, and smarts are impressive. With an ample amount of time and the right instruction, she is a player that could really show up this season as one of the better PF/C’s, throughout the entire state. Until then she is going to keep working on her game and making sure that she is ready for when the moment presents itself.
