There was no sophomore slump for Ayotte this season. In fact, she rose to the occasion in ways that were extremely eye-opening. Not only did her level of production jump up, but she was also a key leader, even as an underclassman on a much-improved MSC squad coming into the year. Ava was a part of breaking a few records too. This list would be incomplete without Ayotte’s name in the mix. Expect to see a jump in her positioning by the next rankings update. #45 is just too low after what she’s been able to do for the Mounties.

Ayotte scored her 1000th career point earlier this week. The dynamic guard has been absolutely invaluable for MSC. She’s a significant part of the equation and a consistent factor that’s liable to get hot early on in any given game. High scoring outputs are sort of the normal for her in the commanding offensive schemes. There aren’t a handful of RI guards that have this level of overpowering ability.

Ava exploded for 32 influential pts in a blowout win vs Kents Hill School 81-48. Her hot shooting numbers were key in getting the team to a comfortable lead out early. Her beautiful jumper connected from beyond the 3-point plenty of times, 6 to be exact. She also added 7 reb plus 3 stl. What an impressive showing for the sophomore impact player. She’s deserving of reconsideration for her position within the ranks. There just aren’t 45 players in her class that’re better than Ava right now. Ayotte is likely to make a considerable jump by the next update.

27 pts was what Ayotte put up the other day. A few of the 7 weight 3-ponters came in rapid succession too. The sophomore sensation has been tremendous this year for MSC, regularly finding success from distance and making her mark as a playmaker on both sides. Her jump shooting ability makes her on of the more serious threats in any given game. Ayotte is looking mighty comfortable in her second season.

Ava has been on fire lately, lighting it up with her wonderful inside-out game. She’s been particularly sublime from deep as of late. Her long-range ability off the catch or on the bounce can be detrimental to the defense. Ayotte has been a key factor in MSC’s run this season and with her playing so sweetly, they’re not planning on slowing down any time soon. Her stock is certainly on the rise.

It’s been some time since mentioning Ava, but that shouldn’t be an indictment on her ability. The combo guard is just as potent and this has showed up early in preseason play as well as to start the season. Ayotte was one of the key reasons to bringing home a bigtime early season victory. This was a highly anticipated RI NEPSAC matchup, so there were tons of eyes on this one. Ayotte is certainly a stock riser.

Ava is going to have a handful of reliable forward options with different skillsets to be dishing the ball to next season. She was already a leading scoring force plus she was highly effective as an on-ball defender, racking up the steals over the course of the season. The steady incline in her offensive game, becoming more assertive as a scorer and the experience gained is what makes her someone to keep an eye on.

Ava is one of the top guards in the entire ’28 class. The Bay State Jaguar is a compelling high-powered guard that executes under pressure and can overwhelm the defense with her versatile skillet. The change of heights when controlling the ball makes her a tough plyer to stay in front of. All Ayotte needs is a sliver of space by just getting her shoulder ahead and she can capitalize on a lot of possessions. She has great vision as well as sporting a nice touch that can help her rack up assists in no time. One aspect about Ava that stands out is her persistency getting to her effective areas on the floor. She won’t be stopped getting to her spots. This tenacity can be recognized on the defensive side of the ball too. She matches up well with most pgs and combo guards within the halfcourt or even in transition. Ballhandlers are easily speed up with Ayotte heckling them which just leads to turnovers eventually. This lively play brought to each game from Ava makes her such a riveting player to watch.

Ava is going to need to bring that mighty aggressive play, especially offensively for MSC to win big. The local favorite has had a great first year and exceeded expectations. Ayotte does not look like a freshman out there; her playstyle can be intrusive to the defense on the perimeter with long-range shots or within the paint with her skilled drives. The team will be looking for the young guard to step up as they are battling against some injury in their frontcourt.

Ava has been one of Mount Saint Charles’ most outstanding players up to this point. She’s making a name for herself as a freshman force to consider from all teams to come. While fulfilling the expectations of a top player in the class, Ayotte has had plenty of imposing showings so far. In the MCS vs Austin Prep game Ayotte was spectacular. The Mounties cashed in on 12 3-pointers and Ava led the pack with 6 of those. Her prominent ability to create her own shot was on full display while getting on a roll swiftly. The shots came with extreme confidence, which led to her getting behind the primary layer of the defense for a nice in-between shot. Her high-powered scoring efforts allowed MSC to pull off the upset win over Austin Prep.
