Avary received recognition as a Top Performer at multiple PGH Circuit tournaments and was selected to the All-Tournament First Team at the PGH Michigan State Tournament. Her strong performances caught the attention of our scouts in and outside the state. Avary is strong, physical, and long enough to score and defend inside. She’s a determined rebounder and protects the basket well without fouling. Avary has good vision as a passer, uses fantastic footwork to score in traffic, and can step outside to hit perimeter jumpers. She’s effective as a face-up driver and scores through contact. Avary continued to impress at BCAM Reaching Higher and the Big North Shootout for Lowell; her recruiting looks ready to take off.

Avary was very physical inside for Lowell at the Big North Shootout. She cut to the basket, sealed a defender with a strong stance, used a high-rip step-through pivot to get the scoring angle, then scored the strong and-one layup through contact. Avary tacked on the free throw to complete the three-point play. She has the versatility to play positions 3-5, sees the floor, and has good instincts playing off the ball.

Strong and physical player. Finishes through contact. This player has a smooth game on offense. Able to dictate where she wants the ball to go with fancy pivots to get the defense to shift in her favor. Getting the rebounds to push on a fast break to posting up for the finish. She has talent.

Avary is a versatile forward who stood out during her games with Dream Loudly Basketball 16U EYCL Krasinski at the PGH MI College Tour II. She faced the basket and attacked downhill off the dribble, then made a smart pass to a teammate at the rim for an assist. Avary finished efficiently off two feet, was a strong rebounder, and created extra possessions by crashing the offensive glass. Avary showed her outside range, popping out to sink a smooth three-pointer in the slot. Her ability to play inside and on the perimeter is going to be an asset this spring.
