Bordewyk is a dynamic scoring guard who puts constant pressure on opposing defenses. The 5-foot-8 Corsica-Stickney standout has an explosive first step, excellent speed in the open floor and a natural ability to create space for her jumper. She can make threes in bunches, create her own shot off the dribble and sees the floor well enough to create opportunities for teammates. Bordewyk brings similar energy defensively, where quick feet and strong anticipation make her disruptive on the perimeter. After averaging 19 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists last season, the second-team Class B All-State selection has committed to continue her career at Dakota State.

Bordewyk is the type of player I never get tired of watching. She’s got tremendous natural abilities and feel for the game but she has clearly put in the work to leverage those gifts into a buffet of basketball offerings. Braylee just seems to make things happen. The combo guard plays with tremendous energy and confidence, constantly attacking gaps, creating space, and finding ways to score. She’s an outstanding shooter with quick mechanics and a smooth release, whether in catch-and-shoot situations or creating off the bounce for herself. What really stood out on video, though, was her explosiveness. Bordewyk has a super-quick first step that leaves defenders flat-footed and allows her to slip through traffic to the rim. She’s also crafty, physical, and smart with the basketball. The production is impressive (19 points, 6.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists per game), but so are the instincts and competitive fire that drive everything she does. Bottom line? Braylee is a player!

Braylee was First Team All Expo and her ability to hunt her shots was a big reason why. She’s a crafty bucket that stays busy with or without the ball. Her court sense is high level and she does a very good job of using her body to create space and draw fouls. Braylee is scary good, and should be a high impact player this up coming season.

Braylee is a player who is just starting to show people why she is a college prospect. She was one of the best players I saw when I traveled down to watch the Pentagon’s Who’s Next. She is super athletic and a fantastic shooter. She has a quick release and is lethal as soon as she crosses half-court. Braylee has picked up offers from NAIA powerhouse Dakota State and NSIC Sioux Falls University in the last two weeks.
