The Sioux Falls Christian forward is a fluid athlete who runs the floor exceptionally well and can change directions smoothly, making her particularly effective in transition. Lems attacks the basket confidently, navigates traffic well and can elevate into a quality mid-range jumper. She’s also a willing passer and a terrific communicator who makes sound decisions with the basketball. Defensively, Emory’s length and athleticism allow her to guard multiple positions, create turnovers and protect the rim while contributing her share on the glass. Lems competes with purpose and possesses the physical tools, basketball intelligence and developing skill set to continue raising her ceiling.

She uses her long strides and speed to get downhill to the basket. Her length also allows her to finish easily against smaller defenders. She moves her feet well defensively and has all of the tools to be a menace on the defensive end.

Emory jumped into the Top 10 in the Class of 2027 and for good reason after competing on a state-tournament Sioux Falls Christian team. She has excellent length and speed and looks like a perfect fit for the modern game of basketball. She runs the floor well, has great body control in transition, finishes well around the rim, and plays with a lot of intensity as well as aggressiveness. Big time player to watch as we head into summer basketball!
