She’s a smooth three-point shooter with a soft, controlled release and is equally effective creating for others, firing sharp one-handed passes with pace and precision. A quality ball handler, she plays fast without getting sped up and shows excellent decision-making. Defensively, she brings intensity and awareness. Trygstad’s unselfish style and feel for the game make her a valuable piece.

Liberty would of found her way to an honorable mention team if we had one this expo. She does all the small things on the floor without hesitation and in an unselfish manor. Her hustle and tough play stand out to me most of all. Although she can shot from deep and runs the floor hard.

I was immediately impressed with Liberty’s ability to throw on-time and on-target passes in the drive and kick station. She whipped one-handed passes right into her teammates shooting pockets. She was also able to knock down the outside three with a sweet looking shot. Liberty displayed excellent ball-handling skills and proved to be one of the better guards at the camp.

Another formidable duo who pairs up with Kailey (above) watch out for the Cossacks in Sioux Valley who have a lot of young talent. Liberty is one of those and her game features play-making ability, a high basketball IQ, and defensive intensity. Efficient handles, great vision, and the ability to make smart basketball plays, she’s a very effective guard in a motion offense who betters players around her. High energy and constant effort make this young lady a blast to watch and she will look to continue to improve her game this summer competing for the Sanford Sports Academy .

Liberty is a talented young guard from Sioux Valley High School in SD. She has an impressive basketball IQ for a freshman and plays with high intensity. She was a player that caught my eye at the combine as having loads of potential! That potential comes with an already really solid point guard game with tons of confidence and impressive handling abilities. Tempo is a huge part of her game and she has no issues playing the game fast and changing the speed of the game. Her vision in transition allowed her to make passes other prospects simply didn’t see during games. Stock is up on Liberty and she looks destined for a great career in SD basketball!
