The feisty Messerly would do best on a team that likes to get out in transition. She can just knock down shot after shot after shot. She does not need much space at all. She’s always in the three-point stance when she receives the ball. Her shot comes out quickly and on target. Her strength allows her to do so many things on the basketball court. Her weight-room strength gives her the advantage when she’s trying to rip the ball out of an opponent’s hand to begin a transition attempt for the Mohigans.

Messerly has stepped up huge for the Mohigans. I love the confidence that continues to grow for Carper. She is a strong athlete that will battle with the best of the them. She has proven that she can guard any position on the floor. When athletes put in the work, it shows. Carper has definitively put in the work and it shows in all aspects of her game!

Let’s talk about a true stock-riser! Messerly scored 25 points in the most recent win over Wheeling Park. She made numerous long balls. She picked up numerous steals. Carper did a great job turning defense to offense! She’s a confident athlete that is ready to shoot. Morgantown has a few standout athletes and Messerly is definitely one!
