Kellogg will remain the number 1 shooting guard in the state. Kayli moved to number 2 overall in the rankings due to an injury this season. She is too great of an athlete to move out of the top 3. She signed her first NIL deal. She is a kid that everyone will have eyes on this summer and during her senior season. The comeback will be greater than the setback!

It wasn’t too long ago when Kellogg was tested taking on a new school in a new state, and she met that challenge head on. She’s one of the top athletes in the state of West Virginia, and no one is stopping Kayli! Now, we are witnessing her test to a different type of adversity. I advise everyone to follow her journey, because this is an athlete that will come out on top, and overcome! The truest statement is, “control what you can control” and Kayli is still in the gym putting up shots. The number one shooter in the state doesn’t shoot that high of a percentage without putting in the work. She dominated the entire summer before her injury. This kid is going places that most athletes can only dream about.

Kellogg can simply do it all- stats don’t lie! Such a pure shooter with serious range. Stretches the floor with her predominate scoring. She finds ways to block shots, and loves to pick pockets and passes! Special player!

Kellogg continues to be a standout wherever she plays! It was no surprise that she was named an EYBL standout by numerous outlets! Kayli continues to be one of the most efficient athletes on the court. When you continue to shoot the long ball over 40%, every college coach has to make note of it. Yes, she is known as an elite shooter. However, Kayli continues to prove why she is an elite, all-around athlete. She continues to play elite defense. She continues to pass at a high level! She’s a savvy kid, and she continues to prove why she is a top prospect!

Put Kellogg at the top of the standouts! She finished the game with 32 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. She went 5-5 from the line. She’s automatic at the foul line. She continues to shoot the ball at an extremely high percentage! She shot 60% from the field, including 3-5 from three point land! She turned defense to offense numerous times! ELITE overall athlete!

Kellogg continues to fill up an entire stat sheet every game. Morgantown beat John Marshall 64-49. In the win, Kayli had 18 points, 7 steals, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. I don’t know many athletes that put up these numbers consistently! This one is the definition of consistent! Kayli continues to play elite basketball on both ends of the floor! She’s so incredibly savvy, and she reads passes better than most. You don’t get to the level of play that Kayli is at without hard work. She’s an elite athlete that continues to show this through her defense, court vision, and overall play. Morgantown is definitely one of the top contenders to compete for a state championship.

What more can we possibly say about Kellogg? The scouting report has her name. You don’t see many athletes being face guarded at the high school level, but Kayli is. She moves exceptionally well without the ball in her hands. She definitely knows how to get open to free herself! She nailed long ball after long ball! I love the way that she sees the court. One of my favorite plays was her making a beautiful pass to her teammate in the 2nd quarter. Despite the loss, Kellogg was special and we can’t say enough good things about what she does on the court!

. Read that again! Kellogg doesn’t play like a freshman. She has the ability to stretch the defense at any time for her teammates. You can find good 3 point shooters. Kayli is a GREAT shooter! You will also find basketball savvy kids. Kayli’s IQ will be the highest! The great Larry Bird once said, “A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses these skills to accomplish his goals.” Kellogg isn’t a great shooter by chance. We all know that you have to be in the gym working your tail off to accomplish what Kayli already has in her young career. I’m excited to stay tuned & follow her journey!

The young freshman PG has got a back of tricks. She’s got a deadly left to right step back jumper, she’s got an entire bag of finishes at the rim, and great court vision. Her scoring is elite for freshman as she was consistently putting up 15-20 points per game in her team’s state tournament run.
