Sauer, a 5’8 SG, is usually the type that you would considered a catch and shoot prospect overall but she has demonstrated this season that she can get to the hoop off the dribble and finish through contact. When looking at the state list for some of the top free throw shooters, Sauer finds herself within the Top 40, no matter the age or Class level. There is a lot to like about Sauer and her game. She doesn’t seem to settle but she can make it rain from the outside if need be. That’s an ability a lot of college coaches would love to have on their bench one day.
