Cloud has the right last name because not only is she “long and athletic” she’s showing that she’s more on the“ultra athletic” side as she floats through the air off the dribble, defying gravity and finishing acrobatically, but where has she come from see evalautions here and if you skim through the countless articles you will see what I love seeing “on the court” progression as her midrange has shot up, so has her court vision

Cloud is “long and athletic” and yes, that too is the base, but seeing her ignite her team by placing the passing lane for the steal, blocking shots, or even picking pockets gives them an extra boost. She glides to the basket for buckets, defying gravity at times, and her acrobatic finishes, at times after contact, also ignite the fans

Cloud keeps flying and floating and seeing her operate over the years and show me “on the court” progression keeps me smiling. After all, she too is “long and athletic” and yep, that’s still the base, but she can play all 5 positions on the court, and that ain’t common. She slices by defenders to score off the dribble, with solid body control on her finishes, which at times are acrobatic. Her “stop and pop” jumper is a problem; she plays the passing lane, and her baseline-to-baseline pressure also looks good

Transferring from TAPPS to UIL, Cloud is easily going to shake up region 3 play. Cloud is another player with great athleticism, and it’s been fun to watch her sharpen her basketball IQ over the years to make great reads in transition. She has the speed to blow by opponents in transition, but she sees the court well enough to get teammates involved or attack the rim or pull-up to shoot the midrange over a sagging defense.

Cloud made her presence felt early as she read the court to play the passing lane which led to baskets going the other way. I enjoyed her twisting her body in the air to absorb contact and finish after the lick but she also showed the pull-up jumper in transition as well as rebounded on both ends

Cloud is “long and athletic” which is and always will be the base yet her UPSIDE is scary as she’s nowhere near the finished product. She attacks from multiple angles and defies gravity on her finishes yet watching her rebound and go coast to coast to score was nice, and so was her improved court vision and midrange. Solid defender both in and outside the paint

Courtland, they hit the nail with the name though — and one I’ve been hearing whispers of for a few years now and after Day 1 at the Summer Showdown, I can attest that she is worth the cost of admission and the rumors are true. What she lacks experience, she triples in her athleticism and multiplies in IQ. The rising sophomore may be juggling calls soon enough and the way she handled maneuvering through multiple defenders—I’m confident she’ll maneuver just fine. #StandOutPerformance

Cloud is also “long and athletic” and yes, it’s steal the base yet her numerous steals from either using her quick hands while defending on the ball or just picking the ball out of the air playing the passing lane were on full display over the weekend. Her first step is very nice as she slices by defenders from the wing or wherever she wants to finish off the dribble, yes, after contact included. What I also liked was the “stop and pop” on a dime dime as she dropped it from midrange, she also applied heat “on the ball” defensively

Cloud found ways to bring sunshine so let me star with her being “long and athletic” which IS and will ALWAYS be the base. Her first step is very nice, she does a good job of getting to the rim and her upside is one of the reasons I have her on the 2027 Watchlist yet watching her rebound and go coast to coast while being defended was nice, she rebounds on both ends by the way, and she did a good job defensively, both in and outside the paint.

Cloud continues to let the sun shine on her skills as she’s started off with a bang in high school. Bang happens to be the right word as she left a lasting first impression at the PGH Freshman Showcase making my GAMECHANGERS article. She has several intangibles that I love to see, starting with her DESIRE as she goes after everything off the rim yet her finishing strongly after contact both off the dribble, as well as around the basket. Her midrange jumper is solid, so is her defense , both in the set as well as in transition
