A two-sport athlete who also plays soccer, Elliott has been integral in the rise of 5A West Ashley over the past several seasons. With her senior season looming, Elliott is substituting one purple jersey for another one – that of defending SCISA 4A champion First Baptist. The move gives the Hurricanes one of the most dangerous backcourts of any school – private or public – in the Palmetto State. Elliott competed in 23 games in 2025-26 for a Wildcats team that finished 16-10. She would average 12.9 points, 5.5 steals, four rebounds and 3.8 assists. Elliott has been running with Mosch Ball throughout the spring travel ball months.

Speaking of First Baptist, the 2026-27 version of the defending SCISA 4A champions could be even more dangerous as Elliott will wear its uniform when November arrives. Mosch Ball took part in the Atlantic City Showcase and displayed many of the talents that has made her a top-tier prospect – particularly her ability to drain her attempts from 3-point range. Elliott’s ability to create offense with defense is another element to her game that has earned her a noteworthy statewide profile. She made five 3-pointers for a 15-point performance to earn Mosch Ball a 57-31 victory over Hartford Shockers on Saturday morning.

Earlier this decade, the Wildcats of 5A Division 1 West Ashley appeared to be a team that was being overlooked. Elliott’s stellar presence has the rest of the state recognizing that earning wins over the Wildcats are as difficult as they were throughout much of the 2010s. She helped West Ashley to another winning season as her team finished with a 16-10 record. The junior, who has played at the varsity level since she was an eighth grader, competed in 23 of the Wildcats’ 26 contests this past season. Elliott averaged 12.9 points, 5.5 steals, four rebounds and 3.8 assists.

Elliott let it be known in 2024-25 that her name deserves to be mentioned among the state’s premier players. On Saturday, her 5A Division 1 West Ashley team did battle against Porter-Gaud of the SCISA 4A ranks. Elliott concluded her evening at Kendle Court with a 12-point showing in what was a defensive-minded contest with the Cyclones. A two-sport athlete who also plays soccer, a primary aspect of Elliott’s game that opposing teams have to prepare for is her 3-point shooting. Opposing teams also have to watch out for how hard Elliott hustles on defense and how she is willing to do the little things – such as diving for loose balls – that may not appear on a stat sheet but will help her team appear in the win column.

The energy Elliott exerts is more than enough to elevate West Ashley to excellence. Another two-sport athlete with soccer being her second sport of choice, her ball handling skills can leave many opposing defenders guessing – and leave her open to connect from either midrange or long range. Elliott will be in her fourth season playing varsity and has only improved ever since – particularly on defense and as a rebounder. An SC Lady Sixers product who also spent some time with Team Charleston 843 in the travel realm, she averaged 12.7 points, 3.9 steals and 3.2 rebounds per contest last season with the 5A Division 1 Wildcats.

Following her eighth grade and freshman seasons at West Ashley, Elliott had her breakout season in 2024-25 and it made the Wildcats a team the rest of the state had to reckon with. Standing at 5-foot-6, the primary way to keep Elliott in check is to guard her when she attempts shots from deep. One problem – her 3-pointer is so on-point it is difficult to contain. She maintains a high degree of energy on both offense and defense. Elliott is coming off an AAU campaign where she wore the SC Lady Sixers uniform. A two-sport athlete who also plays soccer, she averaged 12.7 points, 3.9 steals and 3.2 rebounds last season at 5A Division 1 West Ashley. Her prowess from deep was one reason why Team Johnson departed from the Pearl Moore Center as 5-on-5 champions for the inaugural Passion Driven Showcase.

Emma contributed minutes at the 8th grade level for the West Ashley HS Lady Wildcats. Elliott is best used as a spot-up shooter from out on the perimeter and behind the arc. Emma at times today was able to switch hands going to the rack to finish drives.
