Weaver has had a previous stint with Coastal Select before beginning to wear a Team Charleston uniform. Team Charleston ‘s 16U team is set to compete in four games this weekend in Spartanburg. Weaver adds to the great deal of depth there is on First Baptist – defending SCISA 4A champions. She concluded her freshman campaign in Hurricanes purple having played in 28 of the team’s 35 games. Weaver is a multi-sport athlete who has also played soccer in addition to what she gets accomplished on the hoops hardwood. Volleyball is another athletic discipline she has tried her hand at. Weaver previously played junior varsity at First Baptist before working her way up to varsity status. 

Weaver is another who is playing up in class as a 2029 against predominantly 2028s in the 16U division. She had a banner 2025-26 season as First Baptist won this past year’s SCISA 4A championship and was looking to translate that momentum to a solid grassroots campaign with Team Charleston 16U. Playing up in class, the 5-foot-4 Hurricanes standout helped her team to a 3-1 Peach Games weekend. She would play in 28 games this past season with First Baptist. Among the many strong points to Weaver’s game is the ability to collect steals and turn those into additional offensive possessions.

The old adage of sports and life will always be true that it is not how one starts but how one finishes. Weaver finished strong on Saturday afternoon for her Team Charleston 16U when it matched up against Team Mack Regional 16U. Team Charleston earned the 48-41 victory in large part because of Weaver’s second half production. She scored seven points – all of which occurred in the second half. Weaver had a pair of field goals and also connected on three of her free throw tries. She is looking to translate the momentum from SCISA 4A First Baptist winning its first state championship since 1980 into a solid grassroots campaign.
