We struggled to find all the stats for Nebraska Attack from last weekend, but we are going to keep looking. In the three games posted on the UAA Next website, Kay was one of the “older” ring leaders on a team that features 2028 No. 1 Macie Reiner as well as 2029 standout Mia McKenzie. It was Kay and Kendal Heimes who had the best weekend of the 2027s. In the three games posted, Kay averaged just over six points per contest but was an impressive 5-for-10 from behind the 3-point line in Pennsylvania.

Gueryn Kay Gueryn Kay 5'9" | PG Omaha Westside | 2027 State NE is going to be another lethal scoring threat for this group. Kay stands at around 5’10 and she is a knock down shooter from behind the three point line anytime that she see’s an open look. Over the past six months. I’ve seen Kay a few times and each time, she is knocking down shots both off the catch or dribble, deep behind the three point line. She has also displayed the ability to be able to put the ball on the floor and finish at the rack if she is being over played. Defensively, she is just as good as a difference maker. She sticks to her opponent like white on rice and she is disciplined enough to stay down on pump fakes. I’m sure if she finds her niche on this team, she is going to be someone that puts up big numbers across the board, all season long moving into the Winter high school season.

Gueryn Kay Gueryn Kay 5'9" | PG Omaha Westside | 2027 State NE is someone that has stepped up her first few games of the season and shown that she is going to be a player that other teams need to game-plan for, while looking toward the future. Kay is an individual that competes with a lot of raw emotion each play. She doesn’t take any time off when she is on the floor and because of that, she see’s a lot of positive results. In her teams scrimmage to start this winter, Kay hit her teams game winning field goal as time expired to win by 1. A big shot to start off her career at Blair High School, even if it was during an exhibition game. Keep your eye out for Kay and her name to be featured a few more times this 2023-2024 season. With everything I’ve seen thus far, we will definitely be hearing more about this group moving forward.
