made the most of their time at the Heart of Texas. The potential and upside of the athletic twin duo has always been obvious and after this past weekend Colorado, SMU and UCF have all extended offers to the disruptive duo. They’ve already shown their impact as defensive and transition menaces for Union as sophomores. If the new college attention is any indication, the duo are ready to take their game to an even high level as juniors.

I am an old school type of guy. Back in the day Jada would have been what I call the perfect small forward or the 3 guard. The movement without the ball is great along with keeping the proper spacing. The forward can shoot the ball but the activity around the rim stood out that caught my notes.

One half of the Davis twin’s combo for Union. I still have trouble figuring out who has the best moves in the paint area. Jada has great footwork in the post to go along with a soft touch getting many bounces off the rim. Extremely talented players like her sister Mika. MJ Davis girls have Union hungry for the Gold Ball this season.

Intriguing combo of current skill level and big time upside. Plays fast and athletic in transition, but also under control with good decision making. Just enjoyed a productive weekend in Texas, where her Hudl highlights paint the picture as a havoc causer on the defensive end with steals. And timely scoring on offense. Expect that impact to continue to grow this season for Davis

The upside jumps off the page for Davis, at times on Saturday she was an one woman fast break with the way she grabbed rebounds and pushed the tempo. Which includes being unselfish and hitting teammates with passes ahead. In the halfcourt, she has a solid first step leading to being a good finisher around the rim. Was a good off the ball mover as well. Very promising foundation and the upside to continue to grow physically and skill wise and reach an even higher level.

Jada is long athletic combo guard that just plays the game hard and has a strong skill set. A player I feel that can play in any system. She joins a Union squad that will be looking to make state this season

A very athletic guard that plays with a very complete skill set. Meaning she has handles, runs the court, can shoot the jumper and finish around the rim. Impressive is her downhill ability coming off the drive. Showed body control that took the contact then kind of hung in the air finding the backboard for the finish. Great change of direction on the dribble at times using a spin move to create the gap to get the the basket. What always impresses me is when I am keeping up with their social media. Jada and her sister Mika are always in the gym working on their game.
