About Jada

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a combo guard/small forward who can impact the game inside and out. I’m confident shooting from beyond the arc, but I also take pride in doing the physical work; rebounding, defending, and being active in the paint. I focus on making smart plays and contributing wherever my team needs me.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a competitive mindset and play with confidence, even when I’m competing against older players. I stay composed, coachable, and focused on getting better every game. I don’t back down from challenges and always look for ways to elevate my performance.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I currently maintain a 4.0 GPA and am a member of the National Junior Honor Society. I take pride in balancing both academics and athletics at a high level. Along with my school commitments, I play with PowerMove 15U, which has helped me stay competitive and continue developing my skills year-round.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Basketball has helped me develop strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. Playing up has also taught me how to adjust quickly, stay disciplined, and compete at a higher level. I lead by example through effort and consistency.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of my biggest challenges has been playing against older, more experienced competition. It pushed me to grow mentally and physically, and to build confidence in my abilities. That experience has made me more resilient and prepared for the next level.
