With 5A Division 1 River Bluff bringing in a large list of transfers over the offseason, Johnson did not have to shoulder as much of the load for coach Jordan Leath’s Gators in 2025-26 as was the case with the 2024-25 version. Johnson averaged 7.7 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.4 blocks as she played 20 of River Bluff’s 26 contests in 2025-26. She also reached the 500-rebound mark for her career to become the Gators’ all-time leading board-getter. Johnson was part of a River Bluff team that hosted a playoff game for the first time since 2020 when it took on Fort Dorchester in the first round of this past season’s 5A Division 1 tournament.

A rim-to-rim runner that does an excellent job of getting up and down the court for easy transition points. Jenna displayed her athleticism with her ability to catch the ball on the move. She was the first one up and down the court the majority of the night. Solid rebounder on the glass also adds a key component to her game.

Johnson has proudly worn the colors of 5A Division 1 River Bluff through trying seasons like last year’s was even though the Gators earned a tournament berth. Johnson will now be part of a 2025-26 River Bluff assembling that has put itself in the contender’s chat in a massive way. She played in 27 games last season and averaged 12.1 points and 7.9 rebounds plus two blocks and 1.4 steals a contest. Those points, rebounds and blocks averages led the team in those categories. The height she brings to the interior can enable a team to win plenty of rebounding battles.

Johnson will look to be counted even more this season for the Lady Gators for production. Jenna was able to finish some short turnround jumpers here today near the bucket. She does a nice job of getting position down low in the pain along with playing with her back to the basket.
Jenna understands on how to rebound the ball and did it today on both ends of the court for the Lady Gators.
