Joba was a force on Saturday in Wesley Chapel. She is strong, uses her body, and is not afraid of physicality in the paint. She moved well without the ball this weekend whether it was making a back cut for a bucket or cutting across someone’s face and established position.

Joba Oyedeji led her team in points and rebounds and probably hustle plays as well. The power forward caught my attention at the FABC showcase in June and she has continued her great play. Oyedeji plays with a motor that won’t quit. She can defend out in space on the perimeter and can mix it up on the inside. Offensively, she can shoot from the outside and can also muscle her way on the inside. The power forward can also run the floor and score in transition. The power forward will look to lead her team in the State’s final 4 and continue building a legacy that is just getting started.
