Strenge brought plenty of energy to Sunday’s Expo, flying around the floor and creating opportunities through tenacious defense. The 5’6 Sioux Valley guard forced turnovers with her quickness and anticipation, turning defensive stops into offensive opportunities. Kaia has some bounce to her game and displayed the fundamentals, ballhandling and passing ability of a player who understands what she’s doing. Strenge plays with confidence and makes intelligent decisions without trying to do too much. As a young 2030, her smaller frame leaves considerable room for physical development, but the foundation is there. As she grows stronger, her quickness, competitive spirit and all-around skill set will serve her well.
