She did a nice job seeing the floor making the quick passes into her teammates hitting them in stride as they flashed to the basket. She can get inside guarding the post, and she can protect the perimeter keeping up with all kinds of guards.

is a threat all over the court getting to the hoop with ease using her post moves in the paint and making some nice adjustments embracing contact along the way. She can handle the ball well attacking the basket from anywhere, and she doesn’t hesitate to step outside and pull up for her jumper. Her height and strength are an asset on defense being able to block the path of her opponents trying to score.

hustled up the court scoring on a fast break through contact finishing the three point play. She sealed off her opponents and flashed to the block perfectly getting the pass and bucket. Her ability to see the openings, move to where her defender couldn’t block the pass, and catch the entry pass for some points was on display all over the court.

Kailyn Young had a nice bounce pass up the court threading the needle between defenders to find her open teammate cutting to the hoop on a fast break. She was tough on defense knocking the ball away from her opponents pushing it up the court. She expands the floor being able to knock down her shot from deep.

plays a lot bigger than her height shows. She can use her length to cause problems on defense jumping into passing lanes, guarding post players in the paint, and grabbing rebounds. On offense, she can certainly handle the ball efficiently pushing it up the court off of rebounds, and she uses her height to keep the ball high and away from her opponents when driving to the hoop. She already plays at a high speed and will continue to be a leader for her teams.
