Ryleigh is a coaches dream. She can do everything on the court, she can pass the ball with precision passing, in transition she will find the easy bucket, has great court vision. When she has the ball in her hand, you don’t know what she’s going to do, but she’s going to score. Great pull up three-point shot, finishes at the rim with great body control and is a player that’s gonna make a Division 1 coach very happy. Currently #8 in Ohio. 

Ryleigh has been making noise all season! The stats, her moves, and the still photos on the court show why Thrapp is one of the strongest guards in the state! Her release from outside is pure and quick, and as soon as she commits to drive to the basket- it’s game over! She’s averaging 12.2ppg., 7rpg., 2.4apg., & 1.8spg. She earned MVP of the game. Watching Thrapp for the first time, it was clear why she is considered one of the top shooters in the country. She can score at all three levels—attacking the rim, knocking down mid-range jumpers, and stretching the floor from beyond the arc—making her extremely difficult to guard, even against a strong Pike defense.

Thrapp competes with intensity on both ends of the floor, showing defensive effort and a willingness to engage in every play. She finished the night with a game-high 25 points, leading Big Walnut and keeping them competitive throughout the matchup. Her combination of scoring versatility, high-level competitiveness, and two-way impact makes her a player to watch closely as she continues to develop and draws interest from Division I programs nationwide.

Thrapp is a great addition to the team who provides solid on ball defense, and I admire how she involves her teammates! Very unselfish player with precise passing! Ryleigh’s had a terrific summer with several D1 offers! All areas of her game continues to rise! She is such an unselfish guard, who loves to pass the ball- but she’s a major scoring threat from any area of the floor! Ryleigh is simply put, a playmaker. And she does it on both sides of the ball! Big-time player makes big-time plays. Long and athletic, can hit the boards, or contribute from the perimeter. See her Sunday!!

Ryleigh is another non-Indiana prospect I was able to see for the first time, and she definitely has nice talent, skill, and the potential to be a top guard in Ohio throughout her career. What stood out first was her length and speed. She gets around the floor quickly and has nice stop/start ability. She was able to use that defensively well, plus she showed the skill to be a multilevel scorer. She looked comfortable knocking down rhythm jumpers outside, she slices to the basket quickly off the dribble, plus she does a solid job of moving without the ball.

Fundamentally she is as good as anybody on the floor. Anticipates a game and she runs the floor with an elite skillset. Her game will continue to blossom as she gains more experience! 

Thrapp is playing big! Nothing captures my attention quicker than a player who goes after loose balls and hustles! She does a tremendous job in freeing herself on back door cuts, and able to work the baseline. Strong 3-point shooter! (Below going after loose ball, Featured Photo)
