Kayli has been a link piece for St. Andrew’s. Her ability to fill the holes of the team illustrate a player that’s willing to step up to any challenge. Vesterholm will find ways to affect the game by doing the small things, a quality many coaches on the next level tend to seek. There’s no question what type of teammate she is either. Kayli makes a lot of the connective passes within the offense plus she finds open area to be a target for offensive initiators. Vesterholm isn’t shy about screening either and she cuts well from various areas of the floor. On defense she brings the effort plus she’s ready to rise to the occasion. An underrated quality of Vesterholm is the conditioning; her athleticism is truly shown by being able to keep up pace with guards up the floor. Kayli will serve any program she goes to well.

A player that has a ton of attributes on both sides of the floor. Vesterholm’s game accommodates winning basketball. She can do a bit of everything on the floor and she willing fills the needs of her team. Kayli is rather athletic with long limbs which is the perfect amenity to have playing multiple positions. She can put the ball on the floor, but int fond of the flashy dribbles. One thing that stands out is her willingness to pass the ball though. Vesterholm advances the ball to teammates, a quality that’s incredibly infectious. She understands how much easier it makes the game. Her teammates reward her with hitting her back as she runs wide in transition and whenever she deems it necessary, she’s trusted to take it coast-to-coast the length of the floor. On defense, Kayli has many bright sides too. She seems to consistently be an asset for her team, no matter where she’s at. That previously mentioned agility allows her to confidently guard multiple positions. The senior forward is ranked just outside the top 10 at #11.

The 6’0 wing/forward has tons of upside and has the size with all the intangibles to compete highly at the next level. She is an athletic player that has tons of versatility, especially in transition. She has a soft touch around the rim and finishes tough layups all over crowding defenders. A solid off-ball 3-point option within the offense. Versterholm works well in a lot of situations and was an excellent glue piece for a talented St. Andrew’s team this year. Kayli has a way of doing all the little things on the court that may not get recorded on the stat sheet. Defensively, Versterholm can guard multiple defenders and her long arms assist her in her efforts. Kayli has the stunning ability to halt transition offense by herself. She sprints back on defense and picks up multiple assignments at the point of attack. Kayli has been playing well as of late and expect her to keep up with the momentum for the rest of the summer. Vesterholm is a very intriguing and noteworthy prospect that deserves more recognition.

Watching Kayli this weekend, it was clear she means business. Vesterholm knows her game and excels at the forward position because of her defense first mindset and ability to create havoc/cause turnovers for the opponents. Vestrholm is a strong based forward who can play inside the 3-point line as a more traditional power forward, yet has the athleticism to get out on the break in transition and thrive in the open court. Kayli showed her tenacious driving ability in her game Friday. Kayli has a nice left to right crossover that she likes to use to bate slower, less athletic defenders when they are guarding her. When her team was struggling to get something going, Kayli took it upon herself to create driving lanes and showed some facilitation skills as well. She was able to hit open shooters spread through the floor and even knew where to attack the holes in the zone. Kayli was a beast on defense all weekend; whether that was trapping at half court or being the help defender, coming through with a nasty block or steal for a layup in transition.
Vesterholm is a player to keep an eye out for, her game has so many gems to it.

Kayli Vesterhome (2025)/ 6-0 Wing/ St. Andrew’s/ Lady Rivals
Kayli brings brought an abundance of attributes to the game with her silky-smooth game. Vesterhome is a player that doesn’t take much to get going. She can excel in the halfcourt as well as using her quick feet and long strides to get out on the break for easy points. Kayli hit tough 3’s in the eyes of her defenders, created transition points from being in proper position while playing the passing lane, knocked down midrange shots, was a pest by disrupting the offense and also but certainly not least; she had a filthy dime to set her teammate up for an easy bucket. Kayli was doing a little bit of everything and was the universal player in this game.
