McNeil has been steady on both ends since I first caught her at the PGH Freshman Showcase back in 2022 (see evaluation here). Watching her adjust in various settings since then has been nice to see. She’s heady and makes good decisions, but her “never takes a play off” mindset has been another plus, see evaluations here

McNeil adds to Shadow Creek’s firepower as her pull-up jumper, as well as her “catch and shoot” from outside, were clicking. She’s always been able to do some damage on both ends of the court, see evaluations here yet her presence on the court is a plus because she does a good job of controlling the tempo under pressure

McNeil is also an athletic guard who applies heat on offense as well as defense and when you factor in her first step in the set to attack the basket to score dish, that creates some problems, but so does her pull-up jumper. Her court vision across the board is solid, and so is her defense, yet she also does a good job of getting positioning to outrebound taller payers
