We’ve had Kylah listed for quite a while on our 2029 lists, and she is a talent who just continues to improve each week, especially as she finishes growing and gaining strength. She is extremely long, fluidly athletic, and she’s a talented multilevel scorer. While much of the rest of the state might not know anything about her, she is one of only a few 2029s in the state to already possess a Division I offer. Look for that attention to grow as she continues making her game more consistent. She’s got a chance to keep moving up.

Kylah Kendall Kylah Kendall 5'11" | SG South Bend Adams | 2029 State IN is a scoring threat every time she touches the basketball. The South Bend Adams shooting guard has the ability to heat up quickly offensively and put pressure on defenses with her shot-making ability. Whether it is from the perimeter or attacking closeouts, Kendall knows how to create offense efficiently.

Her shooting ability immediately jumps off the page. She spaces the floor well, shoots confidently from deep, and forces defenders to stay attached at all times. Once defenders overcommit to the jumper, she is capable of attacking off the bounce and finishing at the rim.

Beyond scoring, Kendall competes with energy and plays with confidence. She moves well without the basketball, understands spacing, and consistently puts herself in positions to make winning plays. Her offensive skill set gives South Bend Adams a player defenses must constantly account for.

I added Kylah to the Freshman watch list a while back, and I warned everyone she’d be one to watch. Well, she has been receiving NCAA Division I interest and offers since the middle of the high school season. She is extremely long, fluid, smooth, but also skilled. She averaged 15.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 2.5 steals per game for the Lady Eagles. As she finishes growing and gets a little stronger, she is going to be a real handful. She could continue to rise up our rankings over the next couple of years.

Kylah has length, athleticism, a smooth perimeter jumper, and finishes through contact. She caught a pass in the paint, used a drop step, absorbed the contact, and finished strong for the and-one. Kylah made her presence felt on the defensive end as well. She closed out hard to block a shot on the perimeter, then swiped the ball away, used a sweet high-pick-up euro step to avoid a defender, landed on two feet, and scored in traffic. She used her length to disrupt shots and was active on the boards. Kylah secured a rebound, showed off her speed by pushing the ball the length of the floor, and finished off two. She fired a deep go-ahead three from the slot that found nothing but net–string music. Kylah converted free throws efficiently from the line and is a must-see guard-wing prospect with 4C Sports Academy 15U, who made a huge splash at the Great Lakes Kickoff.

Kylah is an extremely intriguing young prospect who is already playing at a high level, plus her best years are still well ahead of her. She is extremely long, wiry-strong, fluidly athletic, and skilled. She can handle it and initiate the offense, she can make open shots when set and in rhythm, and she can glide by defenders to get to the basket. She has scored in double figures several times as a rookie, but she will also rebound & defend. I am anxious to see her on the grassroots circuit match up against some of the state’s better prospects and see where she stacks up, because her upside is noticeable.
