Lauren is a tremendously long, fluid, and versatile wing prospect. She shot it well yesterday, but more importantly, it looked like her shot pocket has risen some, and she was getting it away much quicker. At her height, with her length, that will make it much tougher for defenders to contest her shot. She will still need to gain more strength to absorb contact better, but she is still growing. With that added strength down the road, she should be more effective scoring it at all three levels, and it should help her sit down and defend the dribble as well.

Lauren missed the early portion of the season due to injury, but she has shown flashes of a high ceiling, and she is primed for a really nice Spring grassroots season. She has tremendous length, she’s a fairly fluid athlete, and she has nice touch around the perimeter with range beyond the line. She looks like she is trying to drive it more and be a complete player, which is good, but she still needs to do a lot of work building strength. I also like her potential as a defensive player, because of her length.
