Bryce picked up an offer from Florida a few days ago, adding to a list that already includes Division I programs such as Indiana and Marquette. She is just entering her freshman year of high school, giving her plenty of time to continue improving and add even more opportunities to her recruitment. Bryce also recently joined the West Virginia Thunder AAU program as she continues developing her game.

Bryce is yet another youngster in an absolutely loaded 2030 class in Central Indiana. She has an athletic frame, some strength already, plus skill. She is strong on attack, she can finish in a variety of ways around the basket, plus she absorbs contact fairly well considering her age, and that’s with playing a lot of games against 17U & 16U competition. She is a playmaker, but a lot of her recruiting by Top 25 type schools could come down to whether she is 5-8, 5-10, or 6-0 in a couple of years. She does already possess multiple Big Ten offers, so she already has a great deal of high-major interest.

I wrote about Bryce after her play last Friday, and she was solid. But Sunday, she was on a different level, and I had to mention her once again. She has played “up” in 16U as a 2030 grad all year, and Sunday she was the best guard on the floor at times. She showed her ability to make tight-window passes, score it from all three levels, including through contact, and she was feisty and engaged at the defensive end of the floor. She has drawn high-major Division I interest/offers already, and she still has room to grow and develop her game. Her career should be fun to follow.

Bryce is definitely one of the top prospects in Indiana’s 2030 class, and she has already started drawing Big Ten interest/offers because of her potential. She has a long, athletic frame, solid strength for her age, and good all-around athleticism. She could still grow another inch or two, but it’s her skill and poise for her age that are impressive, especially playing in the 16U division of a major shoe company league…she doesn’t waver. She likes to attack and create for herself and others, but she can also knock down open shots. Defensively, she has the athleticism to be really good there as well.

It’s hard not to notice Bryce Webster Bryce Webster 5'8" | PG Carmel | 2030 IN whenever she’s on the floor because of the impact she makes on both ends of the court. The freshman guard showcased her versatility throughout the Charlie Hughes Shootout, proving she can influence the game far beyond just putting points on the scoreboard.

Webster has the ability to run the point when needed, displaying good ball-handling skills, court vision, and poise with the basketball. She also showed that she can be an effective scorer, consistently attacking opportunities and knocking down shots throughout the showcase. Her offensive versatility makes her difficult to defend, while her defensive effort and competitiveness allow her to make an impact on the other end of the floor as well.

As one of two freshmen in Carmel’s starting lineup, Webster has already earned the trust of the coaching staff. Her all-around game, work ethic, and ability to contribute in multiple ways make her a valuable piece for the Greyhounds. With four years still ahead of her, she has the potential to play a significant role in helping elevate Carmel’s girls basketball program and continue its tradition of success.
