The Purple Aces wing can do a little of everything on both ends of the floor. She is a versatile defender who can move her feet on the perimeter and use her physicality to compete around the basket. Offensively, one of the most reputable coaches in Wisconsin trusted her with the ball and made the right reads when she was called upon. She may not be flashy, but she is capable of playing almost any role.

The Notre Dame wing split time with the Tritons JV and Varsity team this season and stepped into roles when needed on Varsity. Her season was stop-and-go the whole way through, but she played minutes in games that mattered, like Bay Port on the road and Kimberly and Providence Academy at their gym. Hinz has the trust of Coach Rhode, or she wouldn’t have seen the floor in those games, let alone the minutes that mattered in those games. She’s a physical kid who has shown flashes of potential and should have some confidence heading into the AAU season.

Some injuries to Tritons allowed Hinz to step into Notre Dame’s rotation, and she’s done well in her time. She’s still figuring some things out, but her frame, athleticism, and skill set make her one of the more intriguing kids in the Green Bay area in her class. She can knock down shots, play around the basket, and defend.
