is the thing that keeps this group going on the offensive side of the floor. If she is having a rough day then it could be a long one for the Comets but up to this point, she has been consistent to say the least, averaging just over 17 PPG from the off-guard position. While averaging those numbers she is doing it on 39% shooting from the field, 35% from behind the three point line, and 83.5% from the free throw stripe. Numbers this team will need to stay consistent as they move closer and closer to a state championship. This group is special with some promise. The play of Boatman and Tuttle have really carried this team this season along with some other key players stepping up in big moments. If this group can keep their momentum and leave it all on the floor. They will have a good chance against CCA and in their Semi-final matchup as well.

Boatman is a smooth operator. She’s one of those players that make the game look much easier than it is. She shows great form on her shot, which she can deliver from all three levels. She’s strong going to the rim allowing her to finish through contact. She’s quick and long, which helps her on defense. Colorado Christian University is getting a really good player who should thrive at the next level.

lead her North Polk team to a very impressive 3 point victory on the road against #1 ranked Xavier this past weekend. Boatman and company started of the game HOT with a 24-8 first quarter lead against the Saints but that wouldn’t deter the home team much in this contest as they brought it all the way back to only fall just short in the end. When looking at the numbers and how this game played out, Boatman was one of the main reasons why her team came out on top in this one. When you compare numbers of both teams, rebounding is really the advantage that propelled the Comets on top in the end as they won the rebound battle 31-22 overall. With the two main forwards/centers that North Polk contains, it is hard to keep both of them off of the glass at the same time. Other then that though there wasn’t much the Saints could do in this contest as it was Boatman’s evening as she ended up with game high 29 points on 10 of 19 shooting and 4/6 from behind the arc. I anticipate both of these squads to make it to the state playoff this year AND win some games there but where will they end? To be determined…

is a shooter who can do a little bit of everything for her team. She was the starting shooting guard for North Polk High School a year ago, averaging 13.3 PPG with nearly half of her attempts coming from behind the three point line, while attempting five free throws a game and stealing the ball 36 times. Her shooting success is no joke, a big thanks due to her point guard

, who averaged 4.3 APG last season for the Comets. Boatman and Tuttle will both return for North Polk this upcoming winter striving to have another successful year after going 18-5 overall, 13-3 in conference in 21′-22′.
