East Kentwood picked up a very impressive win in a true team style. They had so many players that contributed in so many ways. Porter-Wilson was a great example of that. It felt like she could have dominated with offensive statistics, but instead she took what was there and let the stats pile up in all categories including points, rebounds and steals. Porter-Wilson has the chance to be an elite defender as well.

The Kalamazoo Central vs. East Kentwood matchup will feature some elite athletes. Porter-Wilson will be a key part of that exciting matchup. She’s an intriguing combination of powerful and smooth. Porter-Wilson has been a consistent scoring threat so far this season and will be relied upon as a scorer on Wednesday.

Something tells me that Porter-Wilson is in line to get a lot more press this high school season. And in my opinion, she’ll deserve it. She can attack off the bounce as well as get in the groove with her jumper. Porter-Wilson looked really solid this summer and could get it rolling into the winter.
