Brownlee was a difference-maker with her length and activity on both ends of the floor. The sophomore wing recorded a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds, while also making things difficult defensively with deflections and steals. She used her size and athleticism to attack the basket offensively and disrupt passing lanes defensively. Her motor and two-way impact were key components of Millennium’s championship run.

The super sophomore keeps proving she’s one of the most complete players in the state. What separates Mariah is her willingness to affect the game without forcing shots. She facilitated, made the right reads, and kept her team organized, while still being able to go get her own when needed. Her versatility allows her to slide into whatever role the game calls for—scorer, distributor, defender, or leader.

is already one of the top recruited players in Arizona having secured several D1 offers over the last few months. She had a terrific Freshman year at Millennium and has them well positioned for another State Title run. Brownlee is is an excellent all around player that can play multiple positions and guard multiple positions. She will play the Shooting Guard position in college in my opinion because of her ability to shoot the 3 pointer as well as score from mid-range and off the drive.

Mariah is that kind of versatile wing every coach dreams of. She’s got the ability to guard multiple spots on the floor. She’ll lock down wings, or if you need her to switch inside, she’s got the toughness to handle it. Plus, she has a high basketball IQ, which makes her a defensive anchor.

The point forward played with poise well beyond her age. She rarely got sped up and was always looking to make the right basketball play, which is rare in today’s game. On defense, her length and energy were disruptive throughout the event.

Brownlee is another versatile defender that can guard multiple positions on the court. Her court awareness is advanced for her age. She knows how to help on the weakside while also making sure that she can get back to who she’s guarding. She also has very good hand eye coordination which helps in one-on-one situations.

The freshman just produces so much in so many different phases of the game it’s hard to plan for her. She doesn’t need many shots to put up points. She just has a nose for the ball. She made some excellent passes and played very good defense. Mariah is already one of the more complete players in the state.

Brownlee continued to show that she belongs among the best in the state despite being a youngster. She didn’t back down from the competition and showed the ability to defend multiple positions. On offense, she was fluid and showed the skill to get to the mid-range or to the rim.
