Johnson was another player who helped Marist physically overwhelm North Springs by sprinting up and down the floor continuously all game long. Johnson handled the ball well for Marist especially on the break where she used her speed to get the ball up the court quick and find open teammates. Johnson was excellent in the back of the 1-3-1 zone trap defense that Marist ran most of the game. Her quickness was very evident as she got steals and deflections anticipating where the ball would go next. Her hustle and energy had a big impact on the game.
