We mentioned Maya Jenkins Maya Jenkins 5'4" | CG Forest City | 2029 IA prior to this high school season as someone to watch so it’s nice to see that Jenkins showed out to kick off her high school career. Jenkins did her thing in Game 1 of the season for Forest City. She scored at a thorough rate when she found space off the bounce or catch, she stayed aggressive while trying to get down hill consistent in both the full and half courts, she instructed those around her to the correct spots if they were lost, and she made plays on both sides of the ball whenever their system’s broke down. Jenkins is a tough one to guard. She keeps it simple and takes when the defense gives her, making her even tougher to stay in-front of. All in all, there is a lot to like about Jenkins so far. She just needs to keep doing her thing.
