When you are a smaller competitor, you have to make do with what you have. You have to be able to play off of two feet. You have to be able to counter going either way. You HAVE to be able to shoot it from deep off the catch at the very least and you HAVE to be someone willing to risk it all as a pest-y defender. Maya Jenkins Maya Jenkins 5'4" | CG Forest City | 2029 State IA is a prospect out of this Class that has exhibited all of these behaviors so far throughout the first half of her Freshman campaign for Forest City. Jenkins can go. She is all gas, no breaks with calculated awareness. She knows when to pick and choose her spots and that speaks volumes to the mental part of this game that she possesses. We saw Jenkins do work coming into this Winter and I’m happy to see she has built off of that so far.
