Back in the middle of January, Livingston secured an offer from Columbia College. Her 2025-26 season also saw her approach the 1,000-point plateau for her career in a game against 4A Dreher in December. She was also offered by UNC-Pembroke. Livingston would play in 17 games last season while nearly averaging a double-double – 16.8 points and 9.1 rebounds. She also delivered averages of 6.6 assists and 3.7 steals per contest. Livingston’s Yellow Jackets are set to move back down to the 4A classification beginning in 2026-27. A full season of Livingston next year will translate to an extremely dangerous Irmo assembling.

Abby plays the point guard position exactly how it should be played. She is an elite passer that has a knack of knowing where the ball should go on every possession. She can throw a deep ball in transition or make a bullet pass in the open court. In the half court she has no look passes, excellent back door looks and simple penetrate and pitch passes. Her midrange jumper is high level and she elevates quick and high off the bounce. Defensively, she is a menace always hounding the ball handler.

Livingston was one of three from 5A Division 2 Irmo to receive invites to Saturday’s SCBCA Elite Camp. Livingston is a playmaker on both offense and defense and she places plenty of emphasis on making the right passes as well. The work she puts in away from the court certainly translates to game play. She averaged 17.6 points, 4.8 steals, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals last season for the Yellow Jackets. The objective for Irmo after last season will be to improve against region opponents and carry that momentum into a state tournament berth. Livingston has the tools to help her Yellow Jackets with that.

Livingston’s athletic plate is a busy one as she balances both basketball and volleyball. As 5A Irmo renewed pleasantries with its former 4A region rival in Richland Northeast, the Yellow Jackets earned a 45-34 victory to advance to the Pearl Bracket championship game on Saturday against Cross Schools. Livingston led the Irmo attack with a 17-point performance. She displays her ability to put points on the board from virtually anywhere on the court – including behind the 3-point line and in the paint. Livingston also understands that her scoring capabilities and ball handling skills will draw plenty of attention from opposing defenses and that will open things up for her teammates to make plays.
