MK Bennett has been on an absolute tear in the 11th Region Tournament, putting up back-to-back standout performances to lead Douglass to the championship game. She ended with 18 points, 6 steals, and 7 assists in a dominant 88-13 win over Berea to push the Lady Broncos into the semifinals. MK then led all scorers with 19 points, added 8 assists, 3 rebounds and 7 steals, helping Douglass avenge last season’s title game loss to Franklin County. The Lady Broncos are set for a showdown with Madison Central in the 11th Region Championship on Saturday at 7 PM at Paul Laurence Dunbar.

She fought for an offensive rebound and went right back up to score in the first quarter, then attacked the paint for a bucket inside.
