Aaron is also above “the magic number” to go with being “long and athletic” and watching her over the years see evaluations here and seeing her just working, adding more to her game and improving, speaks volumes about her upside. Her timing to block or alter shots has gotten better, she’s coming from out of nowhere to rebound, and she is defending inside the paint as well as “on the ball”

Aaron has turned another corner, but hold on, she’s “long and athletic” and stands above “the magic number.” and after writing about her a few times, see evaluations here she continues to elevate her game. I think one of the biggest pluses is that she’s showing the potential to dominate at both ends because she reacts so well on the defensive end and is elevating over defenders to score

Aaron is coming off her high school team’s state championship, which they won back-to-back, so seeing her “on the court” progression from last season was nice. Her timing to block shots has gotten better; she’s also finishing stronger inside the paint after contact, but her scoring off the dribble and “on the ball” pressure outside the paint has also improved

The sophomore shows a strong understanding of how to navigate around the basket, using her length to impact the game on both ends of the floor. Agile and active, she’s an effective shot-blocker who can alter attempts and change momentum in a heartbeat. Her combination of awareness and athleticism makes her a standout presence despite her age.

Aaron gave me numerous thrills during the club season with her Houston Lady Roadrunners club team, yet her being “long and athletic” which is still the base, and standing above “the magic number” and that alone will keep her on countless next-level programs’ short list. Her defense and ability to block, deflect and (or) alter shots are pluses, so is her rebounding and defense, yes, she can score inside the paint

Aaron might not be related to Hank, but she’s hitting home runs every time I see her play. She’s “long and athletic” which is the base, and she stands above “the magic number’ so her upside is scary because she comes from out of nowhere to rebound as well as block shots. Her interior defense was solid, and she scored around the basket, putbacks after contact included

Aaron showed me how poised she was around the basket, plus her skillset is ahead of her years, but watching her enjoy playing defense had me smiling. You can’t teach certain things, and the intensity she’s showing pre-high school spoke volumes, and when you factor in her being “long and athletic” as well as standing above “the magic number” … see evaluation here

Aaron is “long and athletic” which will always be the base and her skillset at the post took me back to yesteryear. She finishes around the basket, gave me the “hands and footwork” but she also keeps the ball high and understands how to get the outlet going. Her defense was solid, and so was her timing, nice upside
