A name you might not be familiar with, that is going to put up some eye-opening numbers this Winter at the PG/SG spot is Olivia Wacha Olivia Wacha 5'9" | PG/SG Ballard | 2028 IA of Ballard High School. Wacha is a 5’9 guard, that does a lot of things well on and off of the basketball. She is her team’s unquestionable leader as the PG in their offense but she can also get down the floor in transition for other types of looks in open space. Defensively, she has fast hands, an act for coming to the ball, and balanced coordination with her footwork. All of these things together lead to multiple tips, deflections, and steals throughout the duration of a contest by Wacha, which shows up on the stat sheet. This is the definition of someone who is a stat stuffer. If she keeps it up, she will finish off her high school career one day and be extremely proud of the numbers averaged while helping her team win. That’s for sure.
