“If you ever play on an all-star type team while competing, you know that effeciency is what matters the most. Sarah Poepard was the definition of efficient in her team’s 16U EYBL Championship this afternoon. She started her day off going 3-3 off the catch from three point lane and she never looked back. She might not be the strongest scoring threat with this crew but she can still make things happen in a hurry when the ball his her hands on offense and we saw up close-and-personal today in Chicago.”

#6 – Poepard’s game has blossomed over the course of this year. She had a breakout performance at the state tournament, an excellent AAU season, and is now set to make her debut at Mahtomedi. Sarah has always possessed great length and athleticism, but now her confidence and offensive capabilities have skyrocketed. Poepard can score at every level on the floor and can play multiple positions, as well. She is also more than capable of guarding 1-4 at any given time. We’ve seen her rise to the occasion in many big moments, and it seems that Sarah’s game is just going to keep on growing.
