In reality, there needs to be someone else on the River Queens side that opposing teams have to plan for and that player should be Haskell. She is skilled enough as a guard, she is smart enough to make good choices when the clock is ticking down, and she can lead a program with her communication. She just needs that confidence behind her and they will be in good shape as their regular season comes to an end.

Guy has transferred back to her hometown to be the local hero and that’s going to bring a lot of attention to this Clinton program. On and off the court. Opposing teams will have to account for Guy and Haskell as productive offensive threats each night they compete. Most teams won’t have the defense to contain both so that leads me to believe that Guy will get double, even tripled teamed at times, leaving her teammates wide open in some specific moments. Haskell is a shooter, who can put the ball on the ground and create better than most her age. She is going to play off of Guy the next 3 years at the varsity level and that’s going to help her get to the collegiate floor before you know it.

Clinton is on the rise. Some might not expect it or understand what’s going on but they are going to be a team to beat in the 4A Class in seven months.
