Power Move’s 15U team had a swarming defense that would be overwhelming to most teams and Kyndall was at the forefront. On the ball she was solid keeping her body in front of the ball handler while making them uncomfortable. She played the passing lanes well with good timing and anticipation for steal opportunities. She had a nice drive and finish to end the half to keep her team’s momentum going in the game against Team Museum.

Kyndall continues to assert herself as a premier combo guard, putting together a dominant weekend where she carried her team offensively. Finishing with at least 70 points across four games, she showcased a complete scoring package. Whether it was finding that extra gear to get downhill, pulling up smoothly inside the arc, or attacking the rim with strength, Kyndall controlled the pace and kept pressure on the defense. She also capitalized on swing passes and point guard initiation, knocking down timely shots from beyond the arc. With this level of production and versatility, Kyndall’s stock is clearly on the rise.

Kyndall will have to fight for minutes in a loaded Pikesville backcourt, but it will be hard to keep her off the court. She is super competitive and brings some swagger to the team. She has solid footwork which she uses to cut off ball handlers while defending. She has quick hands and good instincts, so she’s been defending at a high level. These things will get her minutes. Her ability to make shots and handle some ball handling duties will keep her in the rotation.

I attended some Pikesville open gyms and came away impressed with the freshman guard’s competitive nature and overall energy. She went hard at her older teammates and never backed down. She was able to score the ball, and she defended at a high level. She’s not afraid to sprinkle in a little trash talk to spice things up. She’ll be a nice contributor for the Panthers this season.

Kyndall gets the “tough bucket getter of the day” award. Kyndall made more tough shots with defenders draped all over her than anyone else on the day. Kyndall consistently attacked the rim, got past her defender, then showcased her dynamic finishing ability. Reverse layups, floaters and pullups were just a few ways she finished around the rim. Kyndall has great ball handling skills and a competitive fire to win as well. She plays hard every possession and is an overall physical and tough player!

Kyndall showed off some nice range from beyond the arc knocking down multiple three pointers. She also showed good body control in the paint getting to the basket. I’m expecting her to have a great freshman season as there should be a lot of opportunity to shine a Mount Carmel this season.
